Castaway Cove Waterpark is a family oriented tropical themed waterpark, featuring waterslides off 40 foot and 50 foot towers, interactive Kiddie Park, Lazy River floating stream and Tidal Wave Pool. Additional attractions include Buccaneer Bay, Shipwreck Beach, Hideaway Harbor and Nellie s Rolling River. The legend of Castaway Cove dates back to 1879 when explorer Ned Stanley and family were shipwrecked on the Texas shoreline. Legend states that the family used the area s natural building materials and created a playland of tree houses, pools and slides to keep them entertained while awaiting rescue. The park is located in Wichita Falls, Texas.
