United Cooperative Services provides power for residential and businesses clients throughout northern Texas. It is an electric distribution cooperative that has been in operation since 1938. The cooperative serves more than 70,000 meters and has over 49,000 members. It is a consumer-owned, nonprofit organization that maintains nearly 9,300 miles of energized lines. United Cooperative Services serves Johnson, Erath, Hood, Bosque, Palo Pinto, Coryell, Young, Hamilton, Tarrant and Ellis counties in Texas. The cooperative operates several community involvement, rebate and scholarship, programs. It offers online tips for energy conservation, as well as outage management solutions.
