Willis Electric Company is a full service premier electrical contractor specializing in all types of Commercial, Residential, Medical/Dental and Industrial projects. Jeff Willis began his career in the electrical field when he was sixteen years old. He formed this small family owned business in 1983, the same year that he began a second career as a firefighter/paramedic. Back in the early years, he ran the company single handedly, performing all day to day duties including estimating and much of the manual labor himself. He relied on off-duty firefighters to assist with labor. As the business grew, he began to hire full time employees. His wife Susan joined the business full-time in 1995. Jeff took early retirement from the fire department in 2006 to grow and expand the business even further. Today, it continues to prosper and grow while he and all the employees constantly strive to provide excellent customer service and quality work for all of our customers. Jeff's extensive training and experience in public service and safety have carried over to his business. Honesty, Integrity, Service, Safety and Efficiency are just a few of the principals that he has used to guide the company to much success and a long list of satisfied customers. Referrals, which are so important and appreciated in any service related business have been plentiful and as a result have allowed continued success through very strong and not so strong economic conditions. Jeff Willis is a licensed Master Electrician and Electrical Contractor. He holds a license in multiple states while also maintaining registration and licenses with many city municipalities. Our employees are valued and very dedicated to the company's success. The majority are long term employees with tenures from 3-19 years. They are licensed as Journeyman and Apprentice electricians. We participate in continuing education classes and strive to learn new ways to be environmentally friendly and stay up to date with the latest products and materials. Willis Electric Company is fully licensed, insured and bondable. We are long standing members of the Allen/Fairview Chamber of Commerce and the Plano Chamber of Commerce. We have participated in several charitable projects including Habitat for Humanity TCU Frog House and Plano Adult Care.
