Dr. Kevin O. Hwang offers high-quality, evidence-based, and compassionate care for adults. He is passionate about helping patients meet their goals and needs with respect to high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, weight, heart disease, musculoskeletal ailments, mental health, and other chronic conditions. His priorities include helping individuals stay up to date with their screenings and providing counseling on leading a healthy lifestyle. Above all else, he takes the time to listen to his patients. Dr. Hwang is grateful for the opportunity to work with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team and to teach residents and students from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He serves as the medical director of the UT Physicians Internal Medicine — Texas Medical Center clinic. His academic pursuits include research, quality improvement, and optimization of electronic health records. Dr. Hwang is board certified in internal medicine and clinical informatics.
