Dr. Callewart completed medical school in 1982 at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas; his orthopedic surgery residency in 1991 at St. Luke's Hospital, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland; and his orthopedic spine fellowship in 1992 at UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles.

Most patients experiencing pain can be seen by Dr. Callewart or his physician assistant the same day. As an experienced spine surgeon, Dr. Craig C. Callewart takes a highly personal approach to caring for his patients. Dr. Callewart believes that the most important aspect of providing quality care is establishing good relationships with his patients, involving them in their treatment plans and personally discussing the details of each procedure with every patient.
