Rhodes Middle School has been providing educational services for more than 50 years. It is a magnet school focused on technology and managed by the San Antonio Independent School District. The school serves students in grades six through eight and offers courses in fine arts, social studies, science, math and English. It also offers special education classes to children with specific needs. The school s technology course includes advanced video production and Web design. Its technology applications program exposes students to emerging and traditional technologies. The school s multimedia program develops proficiencies in designing, importing and manipulating text, graphics and animation used in multimedia production and publishing systems. Rhodes Middle School also encourages participation in basketball and football events. Located in San Antonio, the school additionally operates extracurricular clubs and groups.
