Fibergrate Composite Structures is a global manufacturer of fiberglass reinforced plastic products for industrial and recreational use. Its products include molded grating, protruded grating, moltruded grating, protruded structural components, handrails, ladders, stair tread solutions, structural plates, work platforms, composite screening systems and a full line of FPR products. The company s products are distributed through a network of retailers located throughout the United States. Fibergrate began manufacturing in 1966 in the residential garage of William C. Coonrod where he created the first corrosion resistant molded fiberglass grating panel and incorporated his new business in the name of Fibergrate Corporation. In 1972, Fibergrate moved the manufacturing facility in Stephenville, Texas 85 miles southwest of Dallas, retaining its corporate offices in Addison. In 1996, Fibergrate was acquired by RPM International. The company maintains its headquarters in Addison, Texas.
