History
Richland College Garland Campus was made possible when Dallas County voters overwhelming approved a $450 million bond package for the Dallas County Community College District on May 15, 2004. VAI Architects provided master planning for this new, state-of-the-art facility. It is the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold-designed/constructed project in the City of Garland. Richland College officially opened its Garland Campus on June 30, 2009. The campus, located on the corner of Walnut and Glenbrook, serves to augment Richland College's long-standing, strategic efforts to address the career development, workforce development, and manufacturing training needs of the Garland service area.
