Lisa E. de Ybarrondo, MD, is deeply committed to promoting and attaining the optimal health and well-being of all infants, children, and adolescents in the community. She offers wellness checkups and treats all general medical conditions. Dr. de Ybarrondo is a board-certified pediatrician and completed pediatric residency training from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston in 1992. She was a chief resident 1992-1993 and has been part of the faculty at McGovern Medical School since 1993. Dr. de Ybarrondo is currently an associate professor in The Department of Pediatrics. Dr. de Ybarrondo used to run an asthma clinic in the 1990s and is dedicated to the education and management of the condition. Since 2007, she has been a faculty champion for the National Environmental Education Foundation which teaches other providers foundational information and skills to help pediatric patients with asthma. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, jewelry making, and traveling.
