COMPASS, located in Houston, is also known as campus of managing positive actions for student success. It is affiliated with the Aldine Independent School District and enrolls students from various schools in the district who are reassigned for disciplinary issues. The center provides positive actions for student success at Aldine classroom programs, which is a temporary assignment of all students and offers various assessments, such as diagnostic evaluations, conference with intervention specialists, targeted behavior skills and academic assessments. COMPASS also provides programs that work on developing better social skills and improved decision-making skills. The center helps students return to their home school campus with improved academic and behavioral skills.
