Chefs Produce Company was established in 1980. It is a Texas-based wholesaler of fine produce. The company s warehouse facilities offer continuous cold-chain and nearly 10 different types of temperature and humidity environments to sustain the proper storage of every product. The company delivers six days a week with a fleet of nearly 40 refrigerated trucks and trailers. Chefs Produce supplies more than 500 types of fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs and value-added produce. It also offers such complimentary items as frozen fruit purees, olive oil, dried cranberries, blueberries and cherries, nuts and gourmet rice. The company flies fresh herbs in daily and then packages culinary herbs, such as basil, chives and tarragon, for retail grocery stores and restaurants.
