HistoryThe company was formed in 1976 as BioMedical Research Group (BRG), a leading analgesia company. In 1996 SCIREX was formed through a merger between BRG, National Medical Reseach Corporation (NMRC) and an infusion of private equity and growth capital. In 2008, the company was re-named Premier Research. For more than 30 years, Premier Research has been conducting clinical research studies to evaluate investigational medication in a variety of medical conditions including acute and chronic pain. We have treated more than 90,000 study volunteers in over 350 clinical research studies. More recently, we have expanded our expertise to include the conduct of clinical studies on healthy volunteers. Our surgeons and physicians are experts in their fields, are board-certified, and have their own private practices.
