Parent/Child Incorporated (PCI) is a private, nonprofit, family-oriented human services agency that provides a range of nutrition and health care services to at-risk children and their families. It works to provide early childhood developmental services and education to empower children and their families to become competent and responsible citizens. Located in San Antonio, the agency serves more than 8,000 children daily in the Head Start, Early Head Start and Family Day Homes Nutrition programs. Parent/Child Incorporated offers a variety of services, such as mental health assistance, nutrition counseling, family support, job training and professional development, literacy training, parent involvement and substance abuse education.
