History
Robin's Nest for Children has two locations in the Pearland area. The owner and director are a mother-daughter team and have been Pearland residents for 38 years. Robin Clemmons established the first Robin's Nest in 1994. Her daughter Cara Clemmons started working in the center for her upon opening it and helped open the second center for her in 1996. Cara, a lifelong Pearland resident, has been the director since 2004 and both assistant directors are long term employees of Robin's Nest. Megan Smiley has been with Robin's Nest since 2004 and Laurie Herald has been with Robin's Nest since 2007. Robin's Nest has several other employees who have been with the company for many years.

Here at Robin's Nest we offer care for infants from 6 weeks of age thru the age of 12 years old. Robin's Nest offers a theme-based curriculum for ages 18 months thru Pre-Kindergarten. Our experienced staff is equipped with the tools for exciting journeys through our themed curriculum. Each day opens the door to new experiences in Math, Language Arts, Science, and Fine Arts. All of our children are evaluated and instructed on a one on one basis enabling each child to progress at their own pace while striving for a higher level of learning. Developmental curriculum also enhances the developmental of the whole child. Fine and gross motor skills, visual perception, manipulative and dramatic play and reading enhancement are included in the activities at Robin's Nest. As your child progresses through each age group, we adapt the curriculum to meet all of their needs through staff communication. We at Robin's Nest provide a positive environment for individual and group accomplishment.
