History
Founded in 1989, VFC has grown to become the nation's leader in the Facility Protection industry. Protecting facilities from Lightning and Transient Current by designing and installing Lightning Protection, Grounding, Surge Protection and Lightning Warning Systems. In 2006 the original owners, Todd Vought and Travis Vought, took on equity partners to implement a growth strategy to become the first national Facility Protection Company. In 2008 VFC acquired the assets of Lyncole with its complimentary services in grounding engineering and testing, and its manufacturing of grounding components like its signature product--the XIT, (chemical) electolytic ground rod.
