The Utah State Office of Rehabilitation assists people with disabilities to lead an independent life. It operates the Division of Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired, which provides vocational rehabilitation services, as well as a multitude of training and adjustment services, such as computer evaluation and training and daily living skills. The division offers home repair courses, low-vision screening camps, and magnification and other assistive aids. The Utah State Office of Rehabilitation also operates the Division of Rehabilitation Services, which assists and empowers eligible individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain meaningful employment. The office additionally manages the Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and has one of its offices in South Jordon, Utah.
