South Burlington High School is a coeducational institution that has an enrollment of more than 950 students in grades nine through 12. It offers accelerated and honors programs in English, social studies, mathematics, world languages, technology education and science. The school also provides instruction in fine arts, music, and health and physical education. Its career development center meets the needs of students through placement in work settings and provides mentoring and peer tutoring opportunities. The school offers a contract learning program that serves older students who are working to complete their outstanding graduation requirements. It is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the Vermont State Department of Education. The high school is administered by the South Burlington School District and is located in South Burlington, Vt.
