While working as a ophthalmic technician in South Burlington, I realized I wanted to learn more about the human body and overall wellbeing, which lead me into my nursing career. It was clear that working with patients and learning from them was where my heart wasand continues to be today.I studied neuroscience at the University of Vermont and pursued my Doctor of Nursing Practice at my alma mater. In 2023, I started working at the UVM Health Network's Sleep Program, where we use a team approach to provide comprehensive care for sleep disorders. The best part of my job is creating trusting, patient-centered relationships to provide comprehensive medical care. Seeing improvements in a patient's health over time means everything. I'm an empathetic provider who strives to listen and respond to my patients' medical treatment needs and wishes.
