History
Sally Hart, founder and director,danced with the Joffrey Ballet for 5-years. Mrs. Hart moved to Albemarle County where she began teaching ballet in 1991. Her two daughters followed in her footsteps as professional dancers and dance instructors. Our school is a family business designed for families. We keep the school small to maintain the personal relationships people crave. This is why our class sizes are capped. Body type is unimportant to us and that is what we teach to all of the children. All of our instructors instill a wonderful self-image, self-confidence, understanding of your anatomy, teamship, a love for dance.
