Despite only being opened in 2007, Mackey's has firmly entrenched itself in Manassas as a great local bar. However, what locals and visitors may not realize is that Mackey's takes its food seriously. Executive chef Michael Callaway and his team hand-cut their steaks and make everything, including salad dressings, fresh in-house every day.
Mackey's is essentially two pubs in one, with a full bar and restaurant upstairs, where it's non-smoking, and downstairs, where smoking is allowed. There's live music on Friday and Saturday nights, along with darts, bar games, and flat-screen TVs scattered around the downstairs bar.
