I have more than 20 years of experience teaching mathematics at the colleges and universities of the United States, Japan and China. I have published a number of research papers about applied mathematics and computer science in highly ranked international journals, such as Discrete Math, Applied Math, etc. As a college professor with a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, I am very familiar with the curriculums of college and high school math. As a tutor, I am patient and adept at identifying areas in which students may need extra help, taking apart complicated problems, and breaking them down into easy-to-explain, simple parts. My priority is motivating and confidence building. I enjoy teaching and helping students understand math in depth.
