Roanoke Regional Airport is a full service airport that offers a wide range of services for all aviation types. As the primary commercial airport serving western Virginia, Roanoke Regional Airport accommodates the aviation needs of the scheduled airlines, airfreight carriers, general aviation, corporate, air taxi and charter operators, as well as the military. With more than 60 scheduled airline flights arriving and departing daily, the airport offers nonstop service to a dozen major cities, as well as frequent connecting service through the hubs of nearly five major airlines that include Fly Allegiant Air, US Airways, United Express, Northwest Airlink and Delta Connection carriers. Located in Roanoke, Va., Roanoke Regional Airport is governed by a five-member commission that includes representatives from both the city of Roanoke and Roanoke County, Va.
