Joe Tessmer's grandfather Waldo E. Schoessel established the family photography business in 1919. In 1977, after a successful academic career, Joe relocated the business to its current location in the Washington DC suburbs. Originally limited to wedding and social event photography, at the request of several clients, the business has expanded to include commercial, fine art, photographic education and escorted photographic adventure tours around the world.
