History
We began as a traditional custom upholstery shop under the direction of Frank Medford. Frank was a master upholster who loved to design and build custom furniture. He passed on his passion for quality work and craftsmanship to his son Michae. In 2011 Michael changed the name from Design Workshop to Medford Custom Upholstery (also dba Medford Commercial Upholstery) to better reflect the primary direction that Michael has taken the business.
