History
PSCC was started by some friends who enjoyed playing 9- wicket croquet, the standard American backyard game. During much of the 1980's, they had four lawns at the Seahawks training grounds in Kirkland, which was owned by one of the members. Tournament play of the American Rules 6 wicket game would draw 40+ players from across the US. When that land was developed into Carillon Point, they began a search for a new facility, playing in various Eastside parks for a few years until they found the current site. In 1990, six of the members formed Roquet Partners to buy the land and everyone pitched in with time and money to build the lawns. By 1991 the lawns were ready for play. 2011 marks the 20th season of croquet on the present site.
