HistoryRCLC began as the grassroots effort of a group of parents who formed the Ripon Committee for Child Care in 1979, and in 1981 the name was changed to the Ripon Child Care Center. In 1996, coincident to the move to our present location made necessary by increased requests for enrollment, our name was again changed to the Ripon Children's Learning Center to more appropriately describe our primary emphasis in education of young children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Our volunteer Board of Directors makes and amends policy and oversees the financial health or this non-profit community-based center staffed by a group of talented and dedicated teachers.SpecialtiesRCLC is a State-Licensed and NAEYC Accredited Group Child Care Center and Preschool serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We have a 5-Star rating from Wisconsin's 'YoungStar' Quality Rating System, and provide tailored curriculums aligned with Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards for all age groups served.
