HistoryBeginning in 1995, our business opened for summer birding in Door County, Wisconsin. Just south of Fish Creek in The Settlement Shops we had every kind of beautiful songbird one could imagine. From beautiful orioles to crossbills and pine grosbeaks, we shared so many wondrous moments with our customers and their families. An opportunity to relocate in the downtown Fish Creek area was undertaken two years later and we found ourselves busy, but with none of the inviting wildlife of the country setting. 1998 brought the business into a non-seasonal, fully grown location in De Pere, WI, with another fabulous location to study and share nature. The Norbertine Fathers of the verdant and natural St. Norbert Abbey across the street allowed us to build on Abbey land in 2005. Study, feeding and pure enjoyment have followed the move and continue to this day.
