Connetquot Elementary School is affiliated with the East Islip School District. Located in Islip Terrace, N.Y., the school offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through five. Its core curriculum includes English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics, and computer and physical education. Connetquot Elementary School also provides orchestra, band, reading, writing, spelling, Spanish, speech, English as a second language and computer education programs. The school has a library media center, and also provides mathematics, computer and science laboratories. Its parent-teacher association focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school.
