Wing Elementary School is located in Islip, N.Y., and serves more than 500 students annually in grades kindergarten through one. The school offers a wide range of academic subjects, such as reading, writing, basic skills, English, math, science, social studies, spelling and vocabulary, music, health and physical education. The school has a parent-teacher association that works in partnership with school s principal and staff, as well as the community to provide programs and services that enhance the educational environment for all children. It offers a wide range of athletic activities, such as basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, softball, baseball, cross country, and track and field. Wing Elementary School is a part of the Islip Union Free School District that also operates other elementary, middle and high schools.
